The draw for the opening phase of the competition proper takes place at theGrimaldi Forum in Monaco, beginning at 5pm BST.
The Reds will be pitted against eight opponents, with four matches to be played at Anfield and four away from home.
For the draw itself, the 36 competing clubs are separated into four pots of nine based on their individual coefficient ranking and will be paired with two teams from each pot – one at home and one away.
Liverpool cannot meet another Premier League club and more than two sides from the same country, in principle.
The draw will be streamed live on UEFA.com.
Twenty-nine teams have already sealed qualification for the league phase, with seven more to be confirmed via the play-offs.
