Liverpool head coach Gareth Taylor (81) will be aiming to tie Marc Skinner (82) for the second-most managerial wins in Women’s Super League history, with only Emma Hayes (151) recording more victories in the competition than that pair of coaches.

Cornelia Kapocs has two goals and an assist in the WSL this season for the Reds, already her joint-most goal involvements in an English top-flight campaign.

No player has taken more shots in the league for Liverpool so far in 2026-27 than Kapocs (10).

Liverpool have picked up seven points from their opening four league matches this season; only in the 2017 Spring Series (10) and 2013 when they won the league (nine) have the Reds had more points at this stage of a WSL campaign.

United have taken the third-fewest shots (25) and accrued the third-lowest xG tally (2.8) in the WSL so far this season – but boast the best shot conversion rate (16 per cent – four goals).

Liverpool have won one of their five previous WSL away games against United – 2-1 in December 2023 – and lost the other four.

United have conceded in each of their last 11 home league fixtures.

The Reds have the best duels won percentage in the WSL so far this season (56 per cent).

Taylor’s team have also won possession in the final third more times than any other side (40), with their total almost twice the division average (22.7).

No player has produced more interceptions across the league this term than United’s Andrea Medina (13).

With 96, Liverpool captain Grace Fisk has the joint-highest figure in the WSL for passes per 90 minutes.

The clubs have yet to draw a game against each other in the Women’s Super League, with United winning six times and the Reds on three occasions.
