Inside the new issue, we hear from midfielder James McConnell – a Carabao Cup winner with Liverpool in 2024 – and defender Luke Chambers, who discusses his progress, including making his Champions League debut in last month’s league-phase victory at LASK.

There’s pre-match insights from head coach Andoni Iraola and captain Virgil van Dijk shares his thoughts from inside the dressing room.

Talking of Van Dijk, we also highlight three special mementos from the day the Dutchman lifted his first trophy as Liverpool skipper.

The Farm frontman and Kopite Peter Hooton is celebrating 35 years of the band’s debut album Spartacus for National Album Day and he reflects on his memories of past Reds meetings with Chelsea.

There is a round-up of the latest match action, an update from our women’s and Academy teams, plus some teasers for younger supporters with a focus on goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.

This packed edition also features a look at the matchday programme issued for the visit of Chelsea for a League Cup second-round tie in August 1977.
