After the Reds fell behind to an Anthony Gordon finish at Anfield, their No.22 turned the score of the Premier League fixture around at half-time.
Ekitike prodded in from Florian Wirtz's assist and barely two minutes later raced away and superbly found the bottom corner off the outside of his boot.
