Presenter Susannah Fuller and our cameras spent time with the forward during Liverpool's recent pre-season trip to Chicago for an insight into his life on and off the pitch.
Ngumoha's impact at senior level began when he became the youngest goalscorer in the club's history with a late winner on his Premier League debut during a 3-2 victory at Newcastle United last August.
In April this year, he also became the youngest player to net at the Reds' historic home of Anfield in a 2-0 win over Fulham.
Nothing, though, would have been achieved in his fledgling career so far without the important people around him, he says.

"I'm always smiling when I talk about my family," explains Ngumoha.
"My mum, I love her so much. She's always taking me to training, cooking and always helping my friends and my brother."
On his brother specifically, he adds: "He's my agent, my brother and my best friend. He's always believed in me since I was young.
"When he was about my age, he dropped out of school to help me. I remember he actually quit a job as well – he was working at a clothing store.
"He was just training me then every day in the summer since I was about six. The work never stops and he always believed in me.
"He installed a mentality of never give up and just believe that you'll be one of the best."
Discussing his on-pitch footballing idols, Ngumoha shares: "I think my biggest one is Neymar. He just plays the pitch freely and that's what I try to implement into my game – excite people, score some goals, assist and help the team.
"It's just, don't play like there's pressure. The fans come to watch you and it's just to embrace that they're watching you play."
Elsewhere in the episode, Ngumoha reflects on achieving Liverpool history and what it meant for him to break through in those aforementioned moments in 2025-26.
"That's something I'll never forget," he says of his goal at Newcastle.
"I remember the first time I got the ball, I just tried to take the man on and it didn't work!
"Then the second time, the ball comes from Mo [Salah] and then Dom [Szoboszlai] puts it through his legs and I'm just there and I shoot.
"As soon as I shot… I knew it was in. I started going crazy and because at St. James' Park the fans are so high, I just pointed to them and I was going crazy."
On his first Anfield goal, against Fulham, he recalls: "That one was amazing as well!
"I remember I got the ball and I think Flo [Wirtz] played it to me and I just did my skills and shifted it and I shot, and as soon as it went in I just heard the loudest roar.
"I was speaking to my friends and my girlfriend and she was like, 'You might as well do a little celebration!' And that's when I did the scuba!"
