The next chapter of the defender's career will be with the Championship side after finalising his switch there today.
Wirral-born Pinnington was on the Reds' books from U7 level and rose through the Academy set-up to represent the U21s.
He was part of the senior team's matchday squad in October 2025 for their Carabao Cup fourth-round tie with Crystal Palace at Anfield.
"My time at Liverpool has come to an end and I want to say a massive thank you to every single member of staff I worked with, and of course to all the players I crossed paths with in the dressing room," Pinnington posted on social media.
"Some amazing memories and lessons for life.
"It means everything to have been a part of this club, and it's something I won’t forget. Wishing the club all the very best for the future!"
