It was announced on Tuesday that the Republic of Ireland striker had sealed a permanent transfer to the north-east club, ending a five-year spell at the Reds.
Kiernan departs as LFC Women’s second-highest scorer in the WSL era on 23 goals from 76 appearances.
“After an incredible five years at the club, the time has come for me to say goodbye,” she said.
“I’ll never forget that call from Beardy [Matt Beard] asking me to join him at Liverpool. It was an easy yes and I can now look back at so many amazing memories and friendships that I’ll carry with me for life.
“I’m incredibly grateful to everyone at the club who welcomed me with open arms and made my time here so special. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside so many brilliant people over the years, and I’ve made friendships that go far beyond football.
“To the fans, your passion for this club is something you have to experience to truly understand, and I always appreciate the love and support for both myself and my family throughout all the ups and downs.
“Liverpool will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’ll look back on my time here with nothing but great memories.
