The new long-term partnership reinforces LFC's position at the forefront of innovation in global football, by bringing together Google Pixel and Google Gemini to show how AI technology can authentically enhance fan engagement via access to helpful, personalised and creative tools.

Since first partnering in 2023, LFC and Google Pixel have created memorable moments both on and off the pitch.

Highlights include Virgil van Dijk's iconic celebration with a Google Pixel phone following the Reds' late winner against Nottingham Forest during the 2023-24 season, alongside Mohamed Salah's selfie with the Kop after LFC secured a 20th league title in 2025.

Together, LFC and Google Pixel have also built on their commitment to closing the visibility gap between men's and women's football.

During the 2025-26 season alone, Pixel-branded content has generated more than 13 million views and more than half a million engagements on Liverpool FC Women platforms.

The partnership has also delivered high-profile campaigns across the past three seasons, achieving more than one billion video views.

Gemini, Google's AI app, gives Reds the ultimate football assistant. By integrating with Google Maps and Gmail, Gemini streamlines away-day planning, finds the best spots to watch the match, and helps to settle any debate in the group chat.

Google Pixel will remain the club's official mobile phone partner, continuing to capture and share exclusive behind-the-scenes content from the men's and women's teams using its industry-leading camera technology and AI-powered features.

Ben Latty, chief commercial officer at LFC, said: "We are delighted to extend our partnership with Google Pixel and expand our collaboration with the introduction of Google Gemini.

"Our partnership with Pixel has always been built on a shared commitment to innovation, creativity and bringing supporters closer to the club.

"The addition of Google Gemini marks an exciting new chapter and reflects our shared ambition to explore emerging technologies that can enhance how we create, connect and engage with our global fan base.

"Together, Google Pixel and Google Gemini will help us continue to push boundaries, tell stories in new ways and build on the incredible work we've already achieved across both the men's and women's game."

Eileen Mannion, vice-president of marketing at Google, said: "We are incredibly proud to extend our partnership with Liverpool FC. Since 2023, Pixel has helped share new, authentic perspectives of this iconic club.

"Now, by expanding our collaboration to include Google Gemini's advanced agentic capabilities, fans can access a proactive personal assistant for seamless matchday planning and dive deeper than ever before into match and club insights.

"Together with LFC and their incredible global fan base, we will continue to push boundaries and redefine how fans experience the game we all love."
